Well, I've been following my meal plan pretty much to a T, I've had to switch stuff around to accomodate work schedules and such, but so far so good. I'm looking forward to my work out tomorrow. Excited and scared to see what they have in store for us... I have to turn in my food journal, sort of interested to see what notes they made on it when I get it back on Monday.
Food Highlight of the Day:
Lunch: Baked Potato with Lowfat Mozzarella Cheese (made with 2% milk). I didn't think it would fill me up but I ended up not eating about 1/4 of it, I was too full!
Fitness to me isn't about a crunch or a push up, it's about taking your power back.

- I had babies. Not only did I have babies, I had babies back to back to back. My weight battle began in February of 2008 when I lost my first child to premature labor half way through my pregnancy. Eventually I wanted to try and have another baby. Actually I was desperate to have another baby. I found out I was pregnant again in August of 2008. The last 4 months of my pregnancy I was placed on bed rest, unable to workout in a house stocked with my favorite treats. I gained about 50 lbs. during that time. My baby boy was born in April of 2009. When Deagan was 10 months old, we got a HUGE surprise... I was pregnant again! Vance was born in October 2010. Like most women, I made the resolution to lose weight this year. The first part of the year started a little rocky, but I managed to lose 10 lbs. I decided to sign up for fit camp when I looked at the wall full of success stories. I knew I couldn't beat this alone, so I enlisted help from the trainers running the fit camp. I signed up - not quite knowing exactly what I was in for, but it didn't matter. I was going to do this: you've heard of bringin' sexy back? Well, I'M BRINGIN' POWER BACK!

Fit Camp - Week 1, Day 3
They did it again today, Candis and Stephanie (fit camp trainers) tried to kill me... I am pretty sore today. However I will say that this thing is working. I've lost 2.5 lbs in 2 days! I'm so pumped, my clothes are fitting looser, 3 more lbs. to go before I can buy new work pants, yay!
Food Highlight of the Day:

So I thought the "unsalted" part of my meal plan would be a problem, but... these unsalted cashews were delicious! You could really taste the cashewiness (yes, it's a word, a made up word, but a word nontheless...). And these fat free Mousse Temptations by Jello are to die for!

Fit Camp - Week 1, Day 2
My fit camp workout days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's 3 days a week for 4 weeks from 8:30am to 9:30am. I planned to workout today however... yesterdays workout had me so exhausted I forgot to do laundry after work and I had NO workout clothes clean. The plan was to try a spin class. Thursday I'll be doing a cardio step class after work. After my fit camp work out I think I could probably take any regular group class and rock it out!
Food Highlight of the Day:

Hawaiian Pizza!!
Mission Carb Tortillas
Boboli Pizza Sauce (one packet will make 3 pizzas)
Grilled Chicken
Pineapple Chunks
Lowfat Mozzarella (made with 2% milk)
This is a recipe for deliciousness!

Fit Camp - Week 1, Day 1
I was super nervous on my way to fit camp... I've worked out a little over the past few months, I have taken a few classes at the gym, but nothing like I was about to experience this day. We did every exercise in the book, and some I think were just made up for torture! I barely made it through class, gasping for air, no rest in between each difference exercise. I'm pretty sure I almost died. There were a lot of moments where I just couldn't go on so I ran in place just to keep my heart rate up. Of course in the beginning of class they did stats, so here's what I'm starting with...
Body Stats:
Weight: 181.5lb.
Body Fat %: 42.1
BMI: 30.1
---------------------------------
Assessment:
Push ups (1 min.): 34
Sit ups (1 min.): 20
Wall sit: 1:02 min.
3 min. Step up Heart Rate: 146
----------------------------------
Measurements:
Chest: 39
Bicep: 12.5
Waist: 34.5
Abdomen: 39
Hips: 41
Thigh: 25.25
Calf: 15
----------------------------------
Food Highlight of the Day:
I had the BEST french toast this morning! It was two pieces of wheat bread (40 calories per slice), egg whites, and sugar free syrup. It was so delicious! I definitely plan in making it again soon...
